Field operations — four disciplines

What we actually do on your ground

Four services, one crew, one machine park. Below is what each one covers, the tolerance we hold it to, and what lands in your quote before anyone tracks onto the parcel.

Bulldozers and excavators preparing a large industrial logistics platform

Ref. T-01

Earthworks

A platform that holds its levels through the first winter, so the trade after us builds on ground that does not move.

  • Stripping and stockpiling of topsoil for reuse on site
  • Cut and fill balanced on the parcel — every lorry movement we avoid is a line item you do not pay
  • Grading to survey tolerance, checked at every pass
  • Compaction tested before handover, not after
Tolerance
±20 mm to survey
Machines
8t – 25t excavators, D6 dozer
Typical duration
3 – 15 days
Controlled demolition of an industrial structure with debris sorting

Ref. D-02

Demolition

A structure taken down in a defined order, with the materials separated as they fall rather than sorted at a gate fee afterwards.

  • Pre-demolition survey, including asbestos screening where the age warrants it
  • Exclusion zones that move with the machine, and a spotter who can stop the work
  • Concrete, steel, timber and plasterboard separated at the point of demolition
  • Clean concrete crushed on site and reused as sub-base where the spec allows
Sorting
At source, 4 streams
Machines
High-reach, shears, crusher
Typical duration
5 – 20 days
Crew and excavator laying large concrete drainage pipes in a shored trench

Ref. A-03

Drainage

The buried work nobody sees once the site is handed over, and the work that costs the most to get wrong.

  • Continuous fall set and re-checked after bedding — pipe moves when you compact around it
  • Mains and stormwater connections, septic systems
  • Every line pressure- or air-tested with the trench still open
  • Retention sized on the impermeable area you are actually creating, not the one on the original plan
Testing
Before backfill, recorded
Depth
Shored beyond 1.30 m
Typical duration
4 – 12 days
Excavator finishing a rock retaining wall along a graded gravel access road

Ref. M-04

Landscaping

Access roads, rock walls and final shaping — the part of the job that decides what the finished site looks like.

  • Access roads built on a tested sub-base, not on hope
  • Rock retaining walls placed to drain, with backfill graded behind them
  • Terrain shaping and finish grading ready for planting
  • A clean parcel at handover: no spoil heaps, no ruts, no leftover material
Wall height
Up to 4 m without engineering
Machines
13t – 25t, rock grab
Typical duration
3 – 10 days
