Three ways to work with us. The rates below are real and indicative —
the figure we hold to is the one written after we have walked your
parcel. No lump sums, no surprise lines.
5 days billed as 4.5
R-01
Day rate
For short interventions and one-off jobs.
€780excl. VAT
A machine and its operator on your parcel, billed by the day.
A 25-tonne excavator that cannot reach the far corner changes the whole sequencing — and the figure. Tight urban plots cost more per cubic metre than open ground.
02
What the ground is made of
Rock, old fill and a high water table each change the method. This is exactly what the site walk is for: we would rather find it in the survey than mid-excavation.
03
Spoil balance
Cut and fill that balance on site save every lorry movement. When they do not balance, haulage and tipping become real line items.
04
Season
Winter ground works slower and wetter. We do not surcharge for it, but the programme lengthens, and duration is what you pay for on a day rate.
05
Disposal
Clean material costs little to move. Mixed or contaminated material carries gate fees we pass through at cost, with the tickets attached.

Straight answers
Why is there no fixed price list?
Because no two parcels are the same, and a figure written from a drawing alone is a guess dressed up as a commitment. The rates above are real and indicative; the quote that follows the site walk is the one we hold to.
How fast do I get a quote?
We answer every enquiry within 48 hours. For a project quote, the itemized figure lands within 48 hours of the site walk, which we usually schedule inside a week.
What happens if you hit rock?
On a project quote, ground conditions we could reasonably have identified during the survey are our risk, not yours. Genuinely unforeseeable conditions are handled as a variation, priced and agreed before the machine moves again — never invoiced as a surprise.
What if the weather stops the job?
On a project quote the price does not move; the programme does, and we tell you the same day. On a day rate you are not billed for a day we cannot work.
Do you discount multiple phases?
Yes. Consecutive phases on the same parcel avoid a second mobilisation, and that saving goes into the quote. Recurring work across several sites is what the framework agreement is for.
Do you work for private clients as well as builders?
Both. Roughly half our work is private — house platforms, drainage, access roads — and half is commercial. The method does not change; the paperwork does.
Are you insured, and what does that actually cover?
Every project is covered by public liability and works insurance, and we send the certificate with the quote rather than on request. Damage caused by our works is our problem to fix.
When do I pay?
Project quotes are staged: 30% to secure the slot, 40% at the midpoint of the programme, 30% at handover once you have walked the site with us. Day rates are invoiced monthly.

Free site assessment
The quote is free. So is the walk that produces it.
Tell us the parcel and what you need to build on it. We answer within
48 hours, and the site walk costs you nothing whether or not you go
ahead.
